Motivating
I motivate my team by giving them new ideas and plans and act smartly. I experiment new ideas, which has been helpful till date.
Importance of Marketing
As being into sales & marketing, this is a very important role of a company, in fact we are the profit generators of the company. So sales & marketing is the backbone of the company, where my role is very dynamic.
Achieving Targets
By doing more promotional activities and applying new ideas. I review there targets on weekly basis, and personally guide them and motivate them to achieve the targets.
Role in an organization
I handle a team of Sales & Merchandisers. My role includes:
a)Achieving of monthly Sales & G.P. target
b)Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
c)Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers & create new accounts
d)Negotiating on price, costs, & delivery with buyers and managers
e)reviewing sales performance & plan to meet or exceed targets
f)Motivating the team & helping them in achieving their targets & solving their issues, if they have any.
g)Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.

I am not a businessman but i want to be rich, so i want to be in a higher management position where i can handle more responsibilities and get a good salary for my work.
Importance of sales
As i mentioned in previous question, sales team are the profit generators of the company. Without sales any company would not survive. So Sales is the top most priority for any organisation.
Differences
Marketing is maintaining public relations, branding & advertising. Sales is selling. Marketing gives boost to sales. So marketing & sales has to go hand in hand, and both are equally important for a product. For example, sale means having the product available in the market, but just having the product available doesn't sell. Now comes the role of marketing, here getting the product to the customer ears, enhances the product and its sale. Marketing boosts sale, & selling generates profit.
What can be achieved
Corporate world has no limits for marketing. Person has to be extra attentive and creative, and act smartly on time, provided that person is getting all the tools and support from the organisation.
Suggestions to aspirants
Marketing is a field which demands are never ending. It is a job with patience, where creativity and new ideas are to be invented. This field has dynamic prospects & good work will be easily recognised by the management. Good luck & my best wishes to all the aspirants.
Positioning the product
Relationship with the customer/clients plays a very important role. This helps to enhance the product in the market. So i always try to place my product with all leading products.
Importance of 4ps
This is one of the preliminary knowledge every marketer must have and is considered to be the basics of every marketing theory. 4ps are Product, Price, Place and Promotion. The four elements should be viewed as one unit and structured to support each other. Otherwise a firm's marketing strategy will be confusing and uncoordinated.
Growth Prospect in marketing
Ladder of success has no fixed time. Yeah, in marketing he has better opportunities to climb a ladder of success when compared to others, cos in marketing if a person is doing good work it immediately comes into higher managements recognition. Merit is everywhere appreciated. Success & Failure are part of life. People say only a person born with good destiny gets success, which i don't believe. Its hard work, commitment and discipline which leads you in positive results, and these positive results leads you to a ladder of success.
