Could you tell us briefly about your family background?

I am happily married to Sangita Gupta (Working in Medical Research Field)in May 2010 and Blessed with a Baby Girl named Naysa. All my cousin brothers are in to IT world . I am the only son of my parents.

Most Important Decisions

I believe in working what I can do best. Being a MCA degree holder from Bangalore (VTU University)
I choose to be a Server side and Automation QA and give my best.
Majorly in Telecom domain and work for Biggest Brands like AT&T,O2 Prepaid -Germany and now mBlox US and UK.

Changes in the industry

I always believe that one should always try beyond the tool boundaries and have hands on one of the scripting language. I have been passionate about UNIX since college days and that’s has really paid off to me.
Java Script is another hands of mine which helps me in Rational and Selenium tools .

Most Important Lessons

You can not stick to one tool and grow with it , learning and exploring new technologies will be required time to time which will help us staying in the industry with strong feet.

Currently working at

Working for One of the Biggest and most used technology in Telecom Industry which is short code msging (e.g. KBC send it to 54646) and Msg request by subscriber to subscribe for a particular service along with billing.
This is really interesting project.

Essential Advice

Being a QA does not mean that one has not to be educated on coding part - its just that we are in to validation and verification side which involves quality assurance. so be ready with scripting language knowledge along with UNIX and Database hands on . All the Best

Plans for the Future

I am heading toward working on latest Telecom domain Technologies and grow as a Leader and become a Test Architect .
