Could you tell us briefly about your family background?

My family consists of retired parents, both from Govt services, wife who works for Subex and me.

Degrees that Matter

I do not believe in any certifications.To be a good QE,all you would need is good hands on,domain/technical knowledge of the application.All the certification can give, is how to test,methodologies,best practices.All we would need is,hands on,situation based analisis which can be got thru experience

Plans for the Future

With the current growth in the organisation, in a couple of years, I see myself as a Senior Manager for EPM QE.

Current and Previous Responsibilities

Managing, handling a couple of products in EPM domain, product sustenance (Customer interaction and issue resolving). Previous profile did not give me the liberty to handle teams, those were exclusive tasks of managers.

Parting thoughts

Currently working at

Sr Testing Engineer in Oracle, handling delivery of new releases couple of products as well as sustenance of the same products by providing Patch releases to customers for their specific enhancements, issues.

My QE director inspires me. He not only manages the whole testing organization but also tests and has complete functional as well as technical knowledge of not only the products managed by him, but all his associations .
