Could you tell us briefly about your family background?

I am the one and only child of my parents. My father, Suresh Menon, is a lawyer practicing at Calicut and mother, Viju Suresh, working as a teacher at Govt. Ganapath Girls HSS, Kozhikode.

Plans for the Future

I have already started a web designing firm, Edesign Technologies in the year 2008 and my dream is to make it as a number one IT company. So I will be heading one of the top IT company after a couple of years.

Parting thoughts

www.stateofkerala.in is my dream project, trying to make it as an encyclopedia about Kerala.

Areas for the Future

Technology is changing everyday, today's specialisation will be outdated tomorrow. So the process of our education should continue along with our professional life.

Currently working at

As a school going student, I have to attend my classes from 8.30 to 3, and after returning home I am spending 2, 3 hours for doing my professional activities like site designing, site updating etc. Thereafter I am doing my home works for school.

Points of inflection

Visiting a website designed by a young boy, created thoughts in mind to create a website for my school. Successful launching of my first site made me confident to create websites for others also and that resulted in edesign technologies, my company.

If you are confident that you are competent and prepared to work hard, nothing is impossible.

Current and Previous Responsibilities

Actually the entire responsibility is upon me. I am doing all works. Only when advanced scripting is required to finish the works I am hiring people. Otherwise my company is a one man army.

The Journey So Far

I have started my career as a web designer in the year 2008. I have designed more than 60 websites so far for various individuals and institutions. This year, being a SSLC student, I have to spend more time for my studies.

Tech trends to watch out for

Initially I was using only HTML. Now I am using php, asp etc also. But the technology is changing everyday. To maintain steady growth, I know, I have to study most advanced forms of technology also. Unless we are equipped with most advanced technology we will not be able to compete in this field.

Most Important Lessons

No sentiments or friendships in business, only the quality of work that will count. The customers will not compromise on quality. So not the quantity of works, but the quality of works is important.

A Fine Balance:

Already answered, its only the time management. If we are doing things with concentration, we can do it fast ans thereby save time. So within the available time, we can do more and more...

Only one decision, that is to start my own company when I was 10 years old, and still I feel, thats a right decision.
