Degree that I recommend
It is primarily MBA - MARKETING & RETAIL.
My role model
I have always been carried away by the success stories of Dhirubhai Ambani and Bill Gates and one was a Petro Station Helper and the other was School Drop out, it was purely a story of Rages to Riches.
My achievements
I was instrumental in switching the mode of Operation Direct to Indirect in CocaCola through the appointment of a large no. of Distributors,SCMC, etc in my Territory in India AND another significant achievement was to create the Distribution Network for my Company in Western Africa.
Important lesson learned
I always believed in Detailing, means one has to Swim in Depth rather than in Surface, the more one goes into Detail the Better is the Result. Another lesson which I have always followed is Judge a Person by his ability & Competency, Not by his Skin or by his loyalty etc.
Couple of years from now
I should be a CEO in next 5 years.
Thoughts on Education system of our country
I think we must initiate urgent measure to improve Rural Education standard and Women Education.
Qualities needed to become a successful leader
Positive Attitude, Always be a Leader not a Boss,Integrity, Sincerely, Open Mind Frame like Parachute.
Influenced by
Dhiribhai Ambani because of his never say no attitude and ability to convert his Dreams into Reality.
Initiative to develop a country
Pay Tax and other statutory Liabilities on Time.
My family background
My wife is also a MBA in Marketing and works for Multinational Bank, I have a 4 yr old Daughter who studies in UKG.
Important decision
Termination of some very senior guys was really tough. Luring all the Permanent Sales Staff in Coca Cola to resign and agree for settlement so that we could go Distributor operated System was extremely challenging Cancellation of Distributorship of a very powerful man in Bihar had huge implications.
More about myself
I think if we all do our part of duty for the country then India would soon become the most powerful country in the world.
Brief description about me
I have been in FMCG SALES for more than 18 years and worked for Coca Cola,PepsiCo,Almarai,VirginCola in different countries across the Globe, at the moment heading Country Sales and Distribution for one of the largest FMCG in GCC in Qatar.
My strongest skill
Leadership and Management, Diversity Sensitivity, Teamwork, Planning and Organizing, Positive Attitude, Adaptability and Flexibility.
Ensuring success
Ensuring that Basics are being adhered to. Detailing, Grow and Develop Successful Team
Alignment of Individual Goals with Corporate Goals.
