Brief description about me
I am currently working as Senior Quality Engineer at SAP LABS India,Bangalore.I have an overall experience of 3 years and 7 months in Software product testing. I am a  native of Vijayawada city of Andhra Pradesh and have been residing in Bangalore since 4 years  .

Challenges in job
The most challenging thing about my job is to gain an end to end functional expertise of the product being tested. Sap’s products to be mastered in terms of functionality needs

Outstanding learning skills . Gaining functional expertise of SAP products in the process of functional testing makes me stand out in the career market as SAP functional consultant which makes my future career more lucrative.

Job made easy
SAP provides a great work environment which mainly focusses and encourages on “learning” also apart from project deliverables. Its great work culture makes my job easier.

Upcoming Trends
Testing of Web services, Web Applications based on JAVA and testing tools expertise in automation testing of those applications will be of great demand in the coming years.

My point of view
Talent is not sufficient for a successful software business..or to say in any business…

Budget for investing talented resources is very crucial .In India,  we have talented resources but sufficient budget is lacking. I don’t say India do not have money (after knowing the amount of money involved in all scams) but the more the population the more diversification of budget is being done which makes it insufficient investment.

If we focus more on pooling budget within India itself in improvising the technology business surely we can deliver awesome products.

My goal
For the next five years I want to build my testing career with strong technical skills like getting certified in various testing tools like QTP,Selenium which have any time market demand..as well as become specialized SAP functional consultant.

Also, being a working woman I would like to see myself as a successful woman in balancing home and work life perfectly.

Family background
I am married and my husband is also working for a software company.

My advice to professionals
People who are starting with their first job will always bring in fresh air into the company. So the expectation is that they bring in fresh ideas and work energetically.
What to do  - I will suggest them to innovate with new ideas in their job. What not to do – Do not relax and enjoy thinking that you have now got a job.The actual “Race” begins
                                             now J

Advice to students
Try for applying for internships at various companies during the last 6 months of your degree course which will help you  get exposed to the happenings of the current technological world and will make you clear what skills you really need to be employed in technology companies.
