Brief description about me
Didier Tranchier is a business consultant dedicated to innovation and business development in the high tech sector. He also works as a professor specialized in innovation management, educating students on how to develop, finance and sell innovation. In addition, he is a board director and shareholder of several start up companies.
Prior to that, he served as Global Account Vice President for Avaya from 2002 to 2005, he was the co-founder and COO of Beijaflore Telecom, a French consulting firm and was President, France Telecom North America, based in New York, from 1997 to 2000.
In 2000, he was the co-founder and CEO of a startup company that has developed an image search engine. This company was acquired in 2001.
As Global Account VP for Avaya, he was able to develop sales from €3 M to €25 M in less than 3 years. He has also managed sales responsibility for over $200 M serving major international accounts, with a 15% annual growth rate.
Didier is a MBA graduate from Columbia Univer
