Important lesson learned
Every day is a lesson in your personal and professional life. We meet new challenges everyday. We are seeing new technologies evolving faster then ever. Key is to stay focused and updated with new technologies in this fast changing world of technology. I have worked in many companies but Quark Media house and Alliance Global helped me build my career into a focused direction and taking it to the next level. I have learned a lot about QA processes and tools at Quark. Alliance global gave right space to develop and use my automation skill set. I worked on many framework and tools at Alliance. I am fortunate being part of our industry standard automation platform 'InsideEdge xAFT'. Alliance also recognized my skills and contributions to various projects and initiatives. Currently I am heading the Automation-Center of Excellence at Alliance Global.
Important decision
Choosing IT as a career.
Influenced by
First My father. He worked very hard through out his life to support our family. He is Retd. Sub Major from Indian Army. He also served 18 years in Ranbaxy as Security Officer. He taught me well about how to respect your elders and seniors.
Second my mother, who raised us well even if our father used to be away for long time due to Army deputations. Her devotion to the family has turned me into a caring family person.
Initiative to develop a country
Every citizen represent a nation. We should first learn to respect our country. We should start following the rules which are put in-place. We should actively participate in social activities. Do not disrespect your country in front of other country people.
Brief description about me
I have around 11+ years of experience encompassing areas of product testing, Enterprise applications testing, Functional Testing, Automation Framework development, strategic guidance, pre-sales, proposal/sow development and Assessments. I have worked in Different domains like Payment Processing, Finance, Publishing, Mobile, Printing, Healthcare and E-commerce. I have good knowledge of Agile, Kanban & Iterative based delivery models. I have good experience in Test Automation tools like Selenium, SilkTest, Robotium, Appium and Android SDK tool like UIAutomator. Test Management tools like Quality Center, Silk Central, and Test Link etc. I am also leading the Automation Center of Excellence at Alliance. In past I have worked with companies like Expresscopy Inc, Fidelity Information Services, Impetus, Quark Media House etc.
Qualities needed to become a successful leader
Respect people first. Learn to treat them right and equal. Right and strategic guidance is also very important.

I would like learn newer technologies and also management techniques which can help me grow as a professional.
Thoughts on Education system of our country
We need to upgrade it to match global educational environment. We need to get away from mentality of earning a degree to earning knowledge first. We should invite global universities to set-up centers here. Our central and state universities should collaborate with western universities. We should give equal education opportunities based upon performance only to hard-working students.
My strongest skill
I am a die-hard tester. Apart from that, I have grown myself into an automation professional. I am also well versed with sales proposals and SOW.

I feel every person possess something unique which is good enough to learn. I interact with many people and retain which is good for my profession and personality.
