Could you tell us briefly about your family background?
Mangesh is an elder son in his family. He got married to Trupti Joshi. His wife Trupti is working @ Intel Technology India Pvt Ltd as a Physical Design Engineer and received many awards in her 4 years tenure. Along with He has Father, Mother and younger brother who stays in Mumbai.
Most Important Decisions
2 years back I relocated to Bangalore from Pune to promote my wife's career in Intel. My family was little bit upset about this decision, but with my extra ordinary convincing power, I was able to follow that decision and now I am very much successful in my current tenure.
A Fine Balance:
I personally believe that, When you make your Passion as your Profession, that means you dont feel that you are working. Testing is my Passion and it is my Profession as well so its very easy to balance between my Work Life
Tech trends to watch out for
The QA/Testing professionals must know about programming knowledge. Like C#, Java. Some scripting knowledge like Perl, Python. Unit Test Tools like JUnit, JScript. SQL querying. Defect Management Tool like Quality Center, ALM. Configuration Tool like SVN, CVS. Linux/Unix OS.

Current and Previous Responsibilities
Currently I am handling 7 Products in the project life cycle, Manual/Automated Test suites along with Triaging the defects and conducting Root Cause Analysis and suggesting fixes for Firmware defects and Test Defects. I already have fix some of the test defects and firmware defects as well

The specialization required in Telecom Domain and Product based industry helps a lot to grow in future

Offering currently 6 yrs of experience in QA/Testing Practices. Worked in various domain called Embedded System, Telecom Domain, Printer Domains
Degrees that Matter
I believe there are ample of certifications available and every one should get it done. I have taken ISTQB Foundation Level certification with 75% score and looking for Adv Level now. Along with these I would recommend IREB, CSQA, CSTE, QMS, Six Sigma level certifications.
Changes in the industry
Well, Now there is a drastic change in the Software industry and all the levels in the Software Life Cycle (Development and Testing). New Technologies introduced like Cloud based applications, Evolution in Telecom based applications like Android, iOS. In future more focus on Requirement analysis.

Essential Advice
Now a days there is a huge compition all over the world. The people who want to make a career in QATesting we need to be so strong in Programming and Scripting as well as Out of box thinking is required. Tester must think like the end customer's mind.

Lessons learned: 1. Be honest in your work. 2. Try hard to achieve your goal, never give up. 3. Take initiative and responsibility and accept the challenges. 4. Read more about new technologies. 5. Express your thoughts, let it be wrong, then only you will get the right way.
