Developing a country
According to me, professionals are more responsible for the development of the nation. Professionals should practice the new ideas and technology aspects within India, creating more employment opportunities to the fellow Indians. Must be a tax payer,right to express against bribery,poverty and harassment. Simply telling,professionals should be whole hearted to their profession ethically,without political intervention.
Effect of sales on an organization
Exactly, sales is not an easy task.It is continuing process till the consumer exists. Selling and buying never stops. Every organisation should have the FOS team,interacting the local buyers and dealers to improve the sales in each region. Improved sales gives promotion,growth both individually and personally.
Current Job description
Currently working as Business manager in a reputed concern. My roles summarized below:

• Drive targeted results with each branch office. Motivate and
guide the field sales to generate business through existing as
well as new channels.
• Organize reseller/end user events on a national as well as
regional basis. Initiation of sales promotion schemes on a national
as well as regional basis
• Pre and post-sales support to branch sales personnel in the form
of pricing, technical clarifications, delivery etc.
• Manage relationships with principal firms and interactions
regarding product, pricing, promotion and delivery etc,.
• Development of field sales and marketing support functions
across the country over time.
• Responsible for business profitability TL/BL.
Essential qualification required
Besides the educational qualification,the one's aspiration would be sales, adopting the field and succeeding in that. I came from engineering field and chosen the career in sales and marketing. Any PG degree in management is enough.
Essential skills
Personal skills,relationship skills,professional business skills and Return on investment skills and should be optimistic.
Importance of brand image
Brand image comes over a period of time with trust,service and quality.
Now the customers are going for the products based on the company's service and value-ad for the long term. Brand image plays vital role satisfying the customers with its reach in the market.,hence so important to have.
Comparing Online sales with hardcore sales
The one who actively on the field with product prospects and meeting the customers -self driven. Online sales mostly will be of offers and credibility of online shopping -thus creating sales easier.
Motivating team members
Need+Faith=Motivation. Giving positive note on such difficult times and confidence to meet the objectives. Mentoring the team with together we can do-nothing is impossible.
Handling new territory
Being new territory,sales strategy will be formulated based on what competition market is doing in the territory-what is the trend and branding the product with known reachable partners. Slowly the sales grows better from nil.
Becoming good marketing professionals
yes.Sales professionals are good at marketing as well. They knew what are the in and out of the product to successful in the market. Making the correct noise with the EDM's,campaigns,media publicity etc.
My advice to upcoming professionals
Sales is inevitable in the consumer market.Pitch the key areas with zero wrong selling. Know the consumer,partner and look for long term relationship. Get technically fit in order to respond queries and service issues then and there it comes. Bit proactive decision making when ever necessary,and addressing to superiors.Updating yourself according to the market/field.The career grows professionally as stronger you are.

In fact,the Web ordering and LFR's increased the consumer space much easier to sales. According to me, as a part of distribution industry.It is healthier sign,as customers are king.
My family background
My family comprises of 4 members,my parents myself and my wife.I am the youngest and have 3 siblings my elder sisters.My father crossing 59 years,retired road inspector.My mother is home maker,she spend her whole life for her children.My wife pursuing higher studies.
Education system in India
I can say,the overall Indian education system is not bad. Meanwhile the education system from public schools and private schools varies in quality as well as paying capability.
Measures to be taken:
1.Government schools should be brought equal standard to the private schools in terms of teaching and deliver results.
2.Improve the GK skills,sports activity sessions in schools rather than simply bookworm.
3.Interactive visual session on each subject related to the practical environment ,much more easier way of best teaching.
4.Computer knowledge has been improved now a days. It should be taught in elementary schools itself.
5. Logical reasoning,aptitude learning should be taught/given in elementary education.
What achievements are you really proud off , in your corporate journey?
Have gained relationship with vendors,partners and more over achieved company objectives for last financial year 2011-2012.Looking proactively to over achieve this time too.
