Journey so far
I joined in my company almost an year back, and i was able to complete almost 10 and above projects successfully which includes R&D projects even.
Challenges in the Technology
The main challenge in the java technology is Performance. It is because there are a lot of factors which determines the performance of the application. The other challenges includes Reliability, Memory Management etc
Scope of Java
Java and Advanced Java like J2EE, J2SE, J2ME etc will be the technologies which will have the most number of end users and developers in a short period of time.
Java Obstacles
1)Too Many Database Calls.
2)In a high-load,over-synchronization results in severe performance and scalability problems.
3)No difference to call a local and remote method.
4)Object-Relational Mappers is a big burden, loading and persisting objects in the database.
5)OutOfMemoryException.
Intellectual Recommendations
My Favourite website is http://www.roseindia.net/
You will get anything and everything there.
Additional Certifications
Rather than degrees and Certifications, keep practicing the programs and get a confidence on the same to conquer the world. Then why degrees and Certifications????
Learning’s/ Knowledge gaining
Keeps on studying the in-depth scenario's on Java and it environments. Going in deep makes us feel we are nothing in it. Moreover, working on the Advanced of the same too.
Areas for the Future
One of the most field which is going to be exploded like anything is the J2ME, which is mainly for the Mobile Applications. If we see the number of users of mobile phones, it getting increased exponentially. So, these will surely be reflected in the Mobile Application users too.
My Road map ahead
Why i myself want to see in the next 5 years? I feel, its better that others see me in a great position in the next 5 years of time. :)
Effective decision
The most effective decision that i took in my life for a successful career was to do my Engineering project, a new and an interesting, but a challenging one, alone.
The Most Important Game
In my project of B.Tech, which was a Mobile Application in J2ME, The Runtime Environment was very much narrower for me. Switching from the JRE from a normal P.C to a micro environment was one of the challenge i faced on it. And i did my project alone.
Starting Differently Again
I would like to penetrate deep into the things what i have done till now.
The Big Question
Yes, of course to some extend. It is because, the project which i did gave me a confidence that i can work on any new technologies and environments, provided it is a challenging one.
Your role model
Its personal to me, and preferably, i don't want to disclose it.
Changes in professional environment
Theoretical knowledge can be gained easily, by studying, but the practical implementation issues and problems could be faced and solved whenever we are going deep into it.
Current Role
I am working as a junior Software Engineer, But i work on my own project to gain knowledge and increase my level of thinking capacity.
Work life Management
Work and Life can be considered as two sides of a coin. The coin should be stood up, with out falling on both sides and the force which makes it to stand up-straight is the motivation and interest on the same. Moreover, always expect the unexpected.
Advice for upcoming professionals
Take everything as a challenge, fight with anything and everything with a positive mind set, then you can conquer anything and everything, either today or tomorrow.
