Brief description about me

I have completed my B.Tech. degree in 2011 from one of the premium technical institutes of India, NIT (National Institute of Technology) Hamirpur (H.P.) in Mechanical Engineering.
Presently I am working in HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.) since September 2011 choosing the best among other offers and having an experience of about 15 months.
My designation is of Aviation Officer and presently I am posted at Trivandrum International airport in Kerala. I have the responsibility to carry out the refuelling activities and related operations for aircrafts in close coordination with airline customers. So basically I am related to operations and marketing. It is my first job and first posting after initial training.

Challenges in job

I am having challenging job as I have a big responsibility to get delivered the Aviation Turbine fuel to aircrafts of different kinds including VIPs which should be of very high quality. So I have to maintain the quality and quantity of the fuel which undergoes different processes before final delivery. Another thing is the punctuality as flights are having a very limited time at the airport and we have to accomplish it without any delay. I have to keep maintained our refuellers (vehicles designed for the activity) and coordinate with different people at airport as well. There all are challenging but very enjoying as we interact with so many people and authorities and there is so much to learn. So there things are helping me to become a better and disciplined person in life and for future.

Job made easy

I have to manage and instruct my team to get things done. If everything is going very smoothly, my job becomes very easy.

India strategy on technical development

The grassroot problem lies with the education system which is not appropriate now for the changing technological advancements. Contemporary studies must be supplemented with practical, research oriented and industrial knowledge since school level and especially at professional level. Choices must be available after primary education. Government must change policies and promote people who are interested to go for high end research activities.

My goal

I want to grow and learn as much as I can in my present organization but may look for other opportunities if applicable and help me to grow further to accomplish my long term goal.

Family background

My family members has a mixed profile. My father is in business and mother resigned the job due to health problems. My elder brother is serving in Indian Navy as Lieutenant.

To be punctual and feel the responsibility. Work with interest and there is no dearth of knowledge.

Advice to students

I would surely advice them to dream big and work towards the goal. Everything is possible with hard work. Never regret if you could not achieve anything in past. Life gives you so many opportunities if you are willing to work hard.
