Brief description about me

Born and brought up in a more orthodox hindu family who believes education is God. I belongs to a farmer family headed by my father Mr. Shankar Hegde. My mother is housewife and takes active part in farming also. And having a elder sister who is Preeti. As a general merit student and also of a background of Below Poverty Line completed my primary and higher secondary education in a Government School which was well guided by profound scholars. I completed my Pre University in commerce stream with Dr. A V Baliga P U College of Commerce, Kumta a well known college in this part of the world. Also completed the Graduation in Business Administration from Karnataka University, Dharwad In the year 2010.
Soon after completing the Graduation I joined Company Secretaryship course from ICSI. Alongside I joined for Law course from Karnataka State Law University, Hubli. After qualifying the Executive programme of Company secretaryship course I joined for Internship in Bangalore with Naman G Joshi & Co, Practising Company Secretary. As I am an Internee I was deputed to work in Bangalore International Airport Limited, Bangalore as Retainer Corporate Support.

So, I am working for BIAL since last three months as a Retainer Corporate support. My position in the company is to assist, help, suggest our Company Secretary CS Chandrasekar. S. While carrying these works I also used to get huge amount of knowledge in the field.

As the Secretarial Department of the company is spearhead of the company, I lead the company as an Assistant to Company secretary of the company.

Challenges in job

As is the atmosphere differs from the student life to professional life it became more challenging then I ever imagined. I tend to get more and more people in the organisation who are very experienced in the field. As knowledge is Sea I tend to swallow every drop from the subordinates.

The trend now a days is to be informative in all the fields. We should be always fond of with the subject matter of our area. As lot of amendments takes place we have to keep us up to date. These trend definitely can change the future in my field.

India strategy on technical development

As the question said India is a blessed country with lot of born talents. But they are used moreover by the Non-Indian countries. I literally think that lack of patriotism and huge increase in human wants are also a part of it.

My goal

As a student of ICSI and as a budding company Secretary I wish to work for my own country and there by contribute to the nation in Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility. In life learning should not be ended, so I am open to new challenges of the future.

Advice to Budding CS

As I am not in a position to advice about the first job in our field, but also, having 3 months exp. I would like to suggest my budding CS that they should have the passion about the job they are doing.

Advice to students

Apart from the students who were studying for the marks I was different. I just studied for the knowledge. Here I followed my Sister Preeti's theory to get qualified.
