Involvement in the Industry
1) Worked for roll out of SAP HCM for IBM India and supported all legacy applications successfully. Sunset project for all legacy applications
2) Managed and worked as Delivery/Project Manager for 7 projects simultaneously for one of largest Banks in South Africa
Changes In The Professional Environment:
When I joined in early 2000's the IT world was different. Business Analyst have to be completely Onsite... We used to travel so frequently and Client will rule the things. We have very less say and we are sent Onsite to please customers also...
But now things have changed. Thanks to communication and Internet where today as responsible persons in the company, we decide and discuss 10 times before any one travel Onsite...

The IT field and also technologies have changes so much that Transformation has become mantra... Companies don't get projects, rather IT firms are either partners with the clients or do complete transformation. The client wants no more project exceution and rather that are looking what do IT company brings to table. This is remarakable change now which was never existed during first few years.
Job Profile:
Working as Business Analyst and deputed for one of Largest Banks in Middle East.
Working in Bank's strategic projects.
Responsible for requirement gathering, documenting requirements, Preparing BRD, use cases, UAT Test cases
BACOE setting up and training new comers
Project Management activities. Effort Estimation of projects. Working with various vendor resources.

Family Background
My wife is Technical Lead (Java, J2EE) working in IT company in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Very lucky to get her as my wife. Very understanding wife and inspite of all my travel she allows cooperates and helps me in every single thing.
Plans For The Future:
I look myself to Functional Head or Delivery Head managing ODC
Other option is to become Account Manager for large account and be customer focus

Project Manager in my previous organization successfully managed 7 projects for any of Largest Banks in South Africa
The Journey So Far:
To be honest IT Business Analyst & Project Management fields are most exciting and there is no off day or dull moment ever.
Had a chance of working in various domains and various Geo's with Fortune customers. Enjoyed and have complete job satisfaction.
Not all the assignments and projects were smooth Had own share of success and failures. Definitely learned from failures.Lucky to have some excellent managers who always backed me and thanks to this field.
Role Model:
My father is my role model. He is honest, hardworking and very discplined person ever I had seen in my life.
A person who stricks to his commitment and always want to grow and learn even in age of 60
I always admire him and I cannot have a better role model than him in my life.
He gives 100% as father, as worker, as husband in all things

The Decisions That Matter
a) Working as Project Manager after 8 years of experience as Business Analyst... and again back as Business Analyst in ITC from Project Manager was my life's biggest and bold decision.. But it paid off and I am enjoying every bit of it.
Learning new Banking concepts, domain, AML is really worth the gamble.
