Mindblowing Stories Behind 10 World Famous Tech Logos
#2 Adobe:
John Warnock and Charles Geschke founded Adobe in 1982. The product was PostScript Page Description Language.
The logo was designed by Marva Warock wife of John Warnock; she too was a graphics designer like her husband.
Adobes first logo had company’s full name, Adobe Systems Incorporated, with bluish grey background and in running font. The letter ‘A’ was modified like a triangle, which symbolized ‘professionalism’ and goal orientation of the company.
The company now sports a logo, which is just a letter ‘A’, slightly modified and adopted from the original logo. The background is red, and Adobe is spelt with ‘A’ in upper case. The logo symbolizes – success, efficiency, innovation and harmony.
Adobe has many products to its name, the CS5 cluster. Each of the product sports a logo, only a slight change in the background color, while lettering remains same. And some of its internet pages may sport logos which have slight stint of animations, like taking different forms in shapes and color.
