Koot, an engineering startup based in Coimbatore, is gearing up for a major global expansion. Specializing in engineering solutions for pump and motor manufacturers, Koot has quickly established itself as a key player in the industry. The company recently won the prestigious European PIA Supplier Award in 2025, recognizing its high quality products and innovative approach.
Koot’s unique platform covers the entire pump and motor ecosystem, including engineering design, research, development, and precision manufacturing. Its global footprint includes technology and support centers in Germany, the United States, and India, with its main manufacturing hub located in India.
The startup works with over 600 tier two suppliers and collaborates with well-known global brands like Germany’s HOMA, Italy’s Pedrollo Group, and Japan’s Hitachi. With a clear focus on expanding in the US, European, and Asian markets, Koot is actively engaging with pump OEMs worldwide to build strategic partnerships.
Currently, Koot employs around 30 people and plans to hire 25 more over the next 18 months to boost its engineering, research, and design teams. The company aims to become the go-to engineering and technology partner for more pump manufacturers globally.
