All those foodies out there must be grateful to Ruth Graves Wakefield, who accidentally developed chocolate chip cookies. She once ran out of regular baker’s chocolate and substituted it with broken chocolate pieces thinking it will melt in the batter, but they didn’t and the chocolate chip cookies were born. Wakefield sold the recipe to Nestle in exchange for a lifetime supply of chocolate chip.

The game that was born out of a Tax lesson taught to Henry George. Monopoly was one of the trading games developed by Elizabeth J Magie Philips, Monopoly was one such game. She hoped to be able to explain the single tax theory to Henry George and then the game was born. Her games aka The Landlord’s Games was self published in 1906.
