Amul girl is a widely recognized Mascot and considered to be one of the best Indian advertising concepts. This is a young girl’s cartoon which is been hand-drawn, appears in a polka dotted frock with blue hair and a tied up half pony. The Amul girl was created as a response to Amul's rival brand Polson's butter-girl.

The ad is been created by Advertising and sales promotion (ASP) agency in 1967. The mascot, since then, has been mobilized to comment on many events of national and political importance like Emergency in India in 1976. ‘Aisa maska aur kahan milega’ Tagline was also quite famous. This young girl will live in our hearts for many more years.
