My experience tells me to take the employee back because the person has seen both sides of the coin and is now sure that it’s a lot greener on this side.

We have quite a number of employees who have re-joined Mascon between 3 and 12 months, after they left us. They have been the best mentors to those who were getting lured by huge pay packets; after all money is not the only thing in the corporate world.

Rehiring is one of the greatest achievements and probably the most satisfying one for an HR professional. The introduction of rehiring into the value system is the easiest technique for an organization to yield maximum value with minimum effort.
