India, a country that stands seventh in the world in terms of area but second in the number of population with over 65 percent of the total population under 35 years and 14 percent between 18-23 years. The future of the country entirely depends on these young chunks but captive to the current education system, things seem ominous. To gift the nation with some of the brightest Einstein minds in the field of engineering, CETPA Infotech was founded by three stalwart personalities - Vikas Kalra, Girish Singh and Anil Singh. CETPA was originated in the year 2002 and conducted initial training programs in collaboration with STEP IIT Roorkee. The motto was to provide Industrial job oriented training, software & embedded development and placement consultancy for the young engineering minds. The main objective was to bridge the gap between industry and academia.

It provides 4/6 weeks/months summer training, winter training and regular industrial training for students and working professionals. "We believe education plays an important role in shaping a nation's growth. Hence, we decided to contribute in the field of training and education to help in building competent engineers who can contribute successfully in the development of the nation," says Vikas Kalra, Director, CETPA Infotech. In a very short span of time, CETPA tasted success and soon spearheaded in Noida, Lucknow and Dehradun with a mission to provide training for the engineering students and working professionals.

Dearth of Basic Fundamentals

The trio recognized an absurd trend among the fresh graduates; they lack the basic fundamental concepts of their courses and the colleges fail to provide practical oriented trainings. This leads to a vague situation where the demand of fresh graduates are at peak but the supply of the skilled freshers are scarce. With time, the distance between the two ledges has grown constantly leading to huge misbalance of the situation. CETPA is working towards bridging this gap by providing training in different domains of engineering viz - Computer Science , Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering on over 50 cutting edge technologies including Java, .NET, Android, Silverlight, Magento, Autocad, Telecom, Matlab, PLC SCADA, Cloud Computing and many more. It provides customized and comprehensive study materials along with online certification and verification for its students.

The company deals with both students and corporate projects. Inspired by their DNA of being perfectionist, the trio is involved in making a difference in the field of education and training by providing quality technical education to its students and professionals. On the other hand, the company strives to provide the best solutions for the clients and be ahead of the competition while focusing on serving the nation. The company has developed industrial projects for Media Lab Asia (a subsidiary of Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India), Central Electronics Limited (a Government PSU) and Samtel Displays (Asia's biggest display manufacturing company). As a result, students get a chance to work on these live projects and gain greater insights on the current industrial trends. Recently, a project named 'Un Manned Vehicle to Moon' developed by CETPA students from Kurukshetra University was selected by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) for worldwide competition Lunabotic.
