But that didn’t kept Sikka from exploring new heights as he later on joined Peregrine Systems as their area Vice-President for Platform Technologies, and was responsible for application development and integration technologies and architecture, following their acquisition of Bodha.com.

Atlast, SAP Acknowledges Sikka:

In 2002, SAP acknowledged Sikka, as he was appointed as the leader of the advanced technology group responsible for strategic innovative projects. Later on, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Architecture and Chief Software Architect, responsible for the road map and the direction for the architecture of SAP's products and infrastructure.

In April 2007, Sikka was named SAP's first-ever CTO reporting to then CEO Henning Kagermann. From then onwards, Sikka never needed to look back as he started conquering one by one within the company. He later on went to lead SAP’s cloud management, as well as analytics, mobile, application platform and middleware. But where Sikka proved his true acuteness was in developing SAP’s ground-breaking technology, the in-memory database SAP HANA.

Finally, with all these accomplishments already in his bag, and with more to come, this Indian can be praised as the true and rightful symbol for the Indian technological intelligence that always mesmerizes the world with its acute and sheer perspicacity and prowess.
