Let’s hope, she will use all the experience shared by these mentors to pull out Yahoo from the dilemma.

#3 Marc Benioff, Salesforce.com

Mentor: Steve Jobs

Mark Bernioff was a former employee at Apple working as a programmer at the Macintosh division, when he was inspired by the company and its co-founder. He later joined Oracle and even later, started his own company.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Benioff said, "Steve Jobs has probably given me more help and more advice than just about anybody. When I get in trouble, and when I get lost in my own vision, I’ve been fortunate to go and see him and he’s been able to show me the future a couple times when I got lost in the forest for the trees." Benioff let Jobs have the app store domain and trademark in return.
