Apple’s biggest market is undoubtedly U.S. But recently, Google’s Android is captivating the minds of the U.S. customers and is catching up so fast. Apparently a report by Nielsen in June stated that Android is the preferred choice of Smartphone users in America. 39 percent of respondents to Nielsen’s study favored Android compared to the 28 percent iOS fans. IT shattered one of the biggest myths about the Apple love of U.S.

 

#3 The Next iPhone

"Rumors that a new iPhone with a larger screen may come out in the fall have been rampant for months," says Andrea Chang of LA Times. “’Influential consumer blogs’ have been strongly recommending that fans hold off buying a new phone until the next-gen model is released.”

This can be the main reason why consumers refrained from buying the currently available iPhone models and so the sales fell to 26 million units in the past quarter. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook                also blamed these iPhone5 speculations for decreased sales.
