Description about me
Myself, Sagar Naskar, working as Assistant Professor in Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (approved by PCI and AICTE), West Bengal in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology since 01.07.2009. I qualified B.Pharm and M.Pharm engineering degrees from Jadavpur University. Now I am continuing my doctoral research work in 'drug discovery (natural resources)' in Jadavpur University as well.

Important career decisions
I belongs to a financially poor family background so for me it was quite impossible to study in private organisation. After passing 10+2 examination I got admission in Physics honours degree course in Calcutta University but later on I made a good rank in WBJEE (rank 1699) and I took admission in Engg. (Pharm. Tech.) that is the most important decision in my career till date.

Degree that matters
Obviously, a Post Doctoral Fellowship from a foreign University of repute.

My attributes
Hard working and try again and again until understand it.

My role model
My mother and my teacher. My mother who sacrifices her food for her child when we were very poor financially. My teacher who are involved in research and teaching although she is retired from University.

Upcoming trends
Clinical trials for new drug molecules (medicine) in India will be developed in the next coupled of years as because India is huge population country.
My goal
To be a renowned teacher and researcher in the field of Pharm. Tech.

Family background
Yes, I am from a very poor family background. My elder brothers are not literate (upto 8th standard). But they tried their best to literate me. Also I got help from my uncle for purchasing book and tuition fees for my higher education.

Advice form elder
'Never tell a lie' from my father.

My achievements
I got a job and now I can support my family that is the achievement. I contributed the education field (reserch area of Pharm. Tech.) by publishing a book named as "Basic research in free radicals and its scavengers", Lambert Academic Publishing.

Advice to students
Be hard worker and try to be honest.

My point of view
We have lots of human resource with huge talent but the proper infrastructure is lacking for a particular field for product development. Another thing is that technical talents are going outside specially in foreigner country for better salary package. Indian products are not that much competitive in the global market as like China product, very cheap. So our technology as well as set up is to be developed (more fund and percentage of money from Government sector is to be approved) and the technical talent is to be oriented in our country by providing good salary package.
