Brief description about me
I am an MBA - International Business with Distinction from University of Greenwich London.
My professional experience includes Business Development, Training and Development, International Trade, Strategy and Business Consulting with a focus on market entry strategies, strategic partnerships, setting up network and strategies for market presence and awareness (planning, delivery and support) for Higher Education sector and Businesses active between India and the United Kingdom.
I am currently working on developing and implementing a sustainable International Strategy for Institute of Directors, India along with developing Consultancy model for Business partnerships and support. I also worked to deliver IOD’s London convention on Corporate Governance and Sustainability in October 2012 at Lords cricket ground. I am also on the organizing committee of Global Indian Entrepreneurs Meet being organized by India International Trade Centre in January 2013 at Mumbai, India.

Challenges in job
What I find really challenging is the cultural differences between UK and India. The expectations and communication patterns are so very different that most meetings conclude without any tangible result. Having lived, worked and studied in the UK has helped me understand the culture, communication and business practices at a deeper level that will help me support Indian organizations when I move to India in early 2013.
Job made easy
Honesty is the best policy and being open and transparent about the expectations and deliverable from the very beginning saves a lot of hassle and disputes at a later stage of the project.
Upcoming Trends
Almost everyone is looking at doing business with India, sometimes without understanding what it might take to do business with another country that is so very different culturally. India needs a lot of experienced professionals who can help make these partnerships happen and work for the mutual benefit of the countries. As more and more Indians return home and start supporting their local communities and businesses, we can expect to witness enhanced growth in the competencies and skills in the SME sector of India where the biggest potential lies.
Secondly, as research starts taking the front seat in most transactions, we will witness a much enricher environment in business and personal interactions and transactions.

My view towards india technological developments
India is considered a leading laboratory for crafting competitive products, models and business processes in the UK. In other words, India is an Innovation Laboratory, which works on the ideas generated by others. India definitely has immense potential and we should be able to see Indian products dominating the world market if we can have policies and attitude to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.
My goal
I plan to return back to India in the first quarter of 2013 and wish to make a difference in the local community and the businesses with the help of exceptional experience gained in last 5 years that I spent in UK. Last 5 years will definitely have an effect on what I do in next 10 years.
Family background
I come from a middle class close-knit family in Bhopal.
I have 2 younger brothers who are well settled in London, UK and parents are in India. Me, my wife and my brothers all live together as a family in London.
