Degrees That Matter:
Analytics is a relatively new profession and there aren’t any related certifications. Having the right experience in Analytics is critical. I’m reviewed the program offered by ADSA and it appears to be a great one for people looking to get into Analytics.
The Journey So Far:
With 12 years of industry experience, I am a graduate in Management Information Systems from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland. I worked at Capital One, Fannie Mae, American Express, British Telecom. As a Director at IQR, I am responsible for bringing new prospects.
Working Life Management:
Work life balance is hard to maintain when you are working in a fast pace, high demand environment. So I need to prioritize what truly matters in life. Now, in spite of the chaos of work, I have a dedicated ‘on’ times when I shift all my focus to the family and developing myself personally.
Career Profile:
Something great is going on at IQR and it is thrilling to be a part of it. We have a real opportunity to share our successes, widen our client base and embark on a journey to make IQR a leader in its space. My role at IQR is to lead out US practice on that journey.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
It is too early to say at this point if the environment has changed since I joined. But yes, the seeds of change have been sowed and change is around the corner. We are growing up as a company and with that growth change is as much needed as it is inevitable.
Done Differently:
Truthfully speaking, I see the door-to-door bible sales job that I did back in college as having been as important in shaping me as my more recent Strategic leadership role at Nitco Logistics. Both taught be something that needed to be learned at the time
Plans For The Future:
With belief come expectations. I believe in IQR and the value we repeatedly deliver to our clients. We are on a on a positive trajectory and expect to be in a great position in 5 years. I expect to be one of the driving forces behind IQR
