Indian Startups On Demand: After Facebook, Now Google Gets A Piece Of It


Bangalore: Soon after Facebook’s acquisition of Little-Eye-Labs, an Indian startup early this month, Google added Impermium, a startup with Indian pedigree into its assets. The firm is into cyber security space helping companies protect themselves spam, fraud, and abuse.

With offices in Bangalore and California the budding venture was founded by a team of three including two Indian Vish Ramarao and Naveen Jamal and Mark Risher, the CEO.

No further details on the deal were available as and the website of Impermium recommends directing all queries to Google.

The webpage of Impermium reads “Impermium is Joining Google!.” “By joining Google, our team will merge with some of the best abuse fighters in the world. With our combined talents we’ll be able to further our mission and help make the Internet a safer place. We’re excited about the possibilities” says the CEO Mark Risher on the note posted on the site, as reported by Times Of India.
