A Buena Vista presentation was expected to provide a family-friendly atmosphere with Joe performing the role of Santa Clause. The movie landed true to the expectation of the makers. In addition they even had Tim Allen along with all the ingredients to make the movie a distinguished one.

Buena Vista tried its luck once again with the sequence of the 1994 blockbuster ‘Santa Clause’ and once again hit a big treasure. The Santa Clause 2 earned a lot of dollars and thus furnished a conception that any Christmas related movie is definite to make such a huge success. A touch of authenticity was established by appointing all the actors from the original one. The sum of $139.2 million made the producers feel that the Franchise must go on, but unfortunately the third part could not be such an entertainment if compared to the first two.

Some may flout on the character of the mean and heinous old Scrooge, but the movie caught the attention of worldwide audience. This 3D animated movie stunned the audience with its visual effects and voice performances given by Jim Carrey and Gary Oldman. This movie totally proved that 3D can actually effect on a movie’s success.
