Increasingly forward-thinking organizations are recognizing the value and impact women leaders contribute to business, families and our communities. So much so that many are formalizing strategies and programs tailor-made to addressing the unique challenges facing women in the workplace as core components of both acquisition and retention strategies.

Studies have shown that women bring a special brand of leadership to organizations—one that translates into superior financial performance and long-term sustainability. Women also represent a valuable and under-tapped talent pool, now comprising the majority of university graduates responsible for nearly 85 percent of purchase decisions, and under-represented in mid and senior management positions.

Finding, expressing, valuing and modeling authentic leadership takes courage, character and capability. It requires a deep sense of purpose to make a meaningful difference in the world and alignment with one’s core values. Today’s organizations are crying out for leaders who serve, help and elevate others.

In response to these trends and feedback from participants of our Women Summits in 2008 & 2009, the objectives of the 2010 Women’s Leadership Summit are to increase leadership capability.

The Women Leadership Summit is being held in the backdrop of International Women's Day, celebrating the progress women have made economically, socially and politically. This event will feature panels of highly successful professional women from the technology industry who will share their knowledge and insights to help empower more women to achieve their goals. It's obvious that diversity has enormous, tangible meaning. Our goal is simple: to share experiences, connect people and increase awareness of your company's women's initiatives.

This one-day Summit across six cities sees 300 corporate delegates—mid and senior level women executives working in technology companies (in each city)—come together to celebrate the great strides women are making in their companies and in the business world.
