Dr. Kiran Bedi is India’s first and highest ranking woman officer who joined the Indian Police Service in 1972. Shikha Rai is Director IT GA, QEHS at Canon India. She is responsible for aligning the IT strategies with the business to give Canon a competitive edge. Oracle e-business suite, lotus notes based workflows for HRIS, travel and IT security are some of her areas. Shikha also heads the administration team and looks at the infrastructure requirements. Under QEHS, she is responsible for the Quality processes, the environment and health & safety aspects. An industry veteran, Shikha has close to 22 years of experience. For last eight years, she has been associated with Canon India. Prior to Canon, Shikha was a mechanical engineer with transformer shopfloor of BHEL in Bhopal. She has previously worked with Bausch & Lomb factory in Bhiwadi as the MRP project manager rolling out the MRP system for production; and later as the IT Manager. Also in Duracell she headed the IT function at Manesar. Shikha holds a B.Tech degree from IIT Kanpur.

Seema Ajwani is the leader for Work Force Relations and Diversity for IBM Daksh. She is also the chairperson for IBM's India Women Leadership Council (IWLC).

Seema has been with IBM Daksh for over five years and brings with her rich industry experience of 19 years. Rekha Agarwal is the Senior Engineering Manager in Adobe Systems. She has14 years of experience in IT and has been with Adobe for more than 5 years. At Adobe, her role is to manage the Quality Enhancement team of engineers, with a focus on testing core technologies used in Adobe products.
Prior to Adobe, Rekha was with Qualcomm, San Diego. She has done her MCA from Delhi University.

Paroma Roy is the Country Head of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs, Google India. Paroma's responsibilities include all external outreach including media, industry and community. She works closely with government relations on public positioning on policy issues such as content regulation, telecom & IT policy, privacy and security and leads strategic co-marketing projects with Marketing for continued brand visibility though brand/PR initiatives.
Before Google, she was the VP for Corporate and Internal Comms at Bharti Airtel, India's largest private integrated telecom services provider. Prior to Airtel, Paroma was a Director, Communications for Hewlett-Packard in their Global e-Business Operations, the BPO arm of HP. Madhu Khatri is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Wipro. She is responsible for the company's legal department. As General Counsel of a US $5 billion corporation listed in NYSE and BSE, with approx. 80,000 employees and operations in over 40 countries around the world, Madhu leads a team of over 40 lawyers that deals with legal affairs of the company.

Madhu Khatri has two decades of experience in corporate law ranging from litigation consulting to in-house consulting. She trained at the office of the Attorney General of India for several years where she worked in the Supreme Court of India on landmark. Khatri holds a LLB from Delhi University. She has also earned a LLM from Columbia University, New York.

Aruna Chaba, a post graduate from Rajasthan University, is the Head of e-Governance Standards Division at National Informatics Centre, New Delhi, which is a premier Institution for e-Governance solutions under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. At present, she is actively involved with Metadata and Data Standards formulation for Person Identification, and Land Region Codification.

Earlier, she had been responsible for strategic planning and execution of Training of Government officials in the area of Information and Communication Technology. Since last seven years, she had been very successfully organizing workshops on e-Governance training prorammes for IAS and other senior and middle level officers of Government of India to bring attitudinal changes in the management for transformation to e-Governance.
Earlier, she had worked as Computer Section In-charge for fourteen years (1976- 1990) in Madras Atomic Power Station, Kalpakkam, and had contributed significantly in building computer culture at organization level.

Poonam joined Nokia India in 2006, as the corporate communication head. Prior to joining Nokia, Poonam had a 7 year stint with Microsoft as Head- Image and PR Microsoft India.

Dr. Shefali S. Dash, a Ph.D. in Physics from Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, is working as Deputy Director General in National Informatics Centre, Government of India. Currently she is in Charge of informatics development in the ICT sector of Government of India. Her areas of specialization are development and implementation of e-Governance programmes and establishing computer communication infrastructure in rural areas. Setting up of 650 odd Community Information Centres (CICs) at the block level in the 8 North Eastern states and Jammu & Kashmir, and implementing the National Do Not Call Registry portal for TRAI are some of her major contributions towards e-enabled citizen centric services.

Amrita Choudhury has over 11 years of hard core operational experience in the field of IT and Internet services. Her involvement at the grass root level for more than half a decade with cyber cafes across the country, has given her a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of the cyber café industry, the current challenges and the opportunities this sector presents.
Besides being a student of Public Policy and Regulations pertaining to Telecom, IT & ITES, Amrita has certificates in Internet Governance and Advanced Phased Certification on Security. She has a 6 sigma black belt certification and is also a Post Graduate in Management from Gauhati University.

Shireen Alam is a Director of Program Management based out of Sapient’s New Delhi office and has been working with Sapient for the past 11 years. During this time Shireen has managed multiple projects through the sales cycles and then from the requirements gathering phases to final delivery of the solutions ensuring that the projects remain on-time and on-budget. She has extensive project experience providing leadership to project teams, comprised of 10-45 on- and off-shore internal developers, contractors, client experts and third party vendors. She has lead teams that followed traditional waterfall development methods as well as agile methodologies.

Solutions include development and maintenance of MIT OpenCourseWare’s web based Content Management Solution as well as web design project for MIT OpenCourseWare and other clients. She has also managed data warehouse and reporting systems design, development and migration projects for major North-East Independent Systems Operator and another higher education institution. Most recently she has been managing project delivery for financial services clients to build various systems such as a security master, a client extranet, compliance applications to manage firm wide restricted trading lists, and an internal employee investment management tool.

Shireen has also contributed to Sapient by providing leadership to the “managers and above” forum consisting of 60 members and as the point of hiring point of contact for her business unit. Shikha Rai is Director IT GA, QEHS at Canon India. She is responsible for aligning the IT strategies with the business to give Canon a competitive edge. Oracle e-business suite, lotus notes based workflows for HRIS, travel and IT security are some of her areas. Shikha also heads the administration team and looks at the infrastructure requirements. Under QEHS, she is responsible for the Quality processes, the environment and health & safety aspects. An industry veteran, Shikha has close to 22 years of experience. For last eight years, she has been associated with Canon India. Prior to Canon, Shikha was a mechanical engineer with transformer shopfloor of BHEL in Bhopal. She has previously worked with Bausch & Lomb factory in Bhiwadi as the MRP project manager rolling out the MRP system for production; and later as the IT Manager. Also in Duracell she headed the IT function at Manesar. Shikha holds a B.Tech degree from IIT Kanpur.

Seema Ajwani is the leader for Work Force Relations and Diversity for IBM Daksh. She is also the chairperson for IBM's India Women Leadership Council (IWLC).

Seema has been with IBM Daksh for over five years and brings with her rich industry experience of 19 years. Rekha Agarwal is the Senior Engineering Manager in Adobe Systems. She has14 years of experience in IT and has been with Adobe for more than 5 years. At Adobe, her role is to manage the Quality Enhancement team of engineers, with a focus on testing core technologies used in Adobe products.
Prior to Adobe, Rekha was with Qualcomm, San Diego. She has done her MCA from Delhi University.

Paroma Roy is the Country Head of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs, Google India. Paroma's responsibilities include all external outreach including media, industry and community. She works closely with government relations on public positioning on policy issues such as content regulation, telecom & IT policy, privacy and security and leads strategic co-marketing projects with Marketing for continued brand visibility though brand/PR initiatives.
Before Google, she was the VP for Corporate and Internal Comms at Bharti Airtel, India's largest private integrated telecom services provider. Prior to Airtel, Paroma was a Director, Communications for Hewlett-Packard in their Global e-Business Operations, the BPO arm of HP. She's also headed Communications for GE Capital in India, including both financial services businesses (now known as Genpact) and served as part of the start up team for the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad.
Paroma has a graduate degree (with high honors) in Political Science and International Relations from Presidency College, University of Calcutta - and was chosen for a prestigious Press fellowship in Cambridge .

Madhu Khatri is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Wipro. She is responsible for the company's legal department. As General Counsel of a US $5 billion corporation listed in NYSE and BSE, with approx. 80,000 employees and operations in over 40 countries around the world, Madhu leads a team of over 40 lawyers that deals with legal affairs of the company.

Madhu Khatri has two decades of experience in corporate law ranging from litigation consulting to in-house consulting. She trained at the office of the Attorney General of India for several years where she worked in the Supreme Court of India on landmark. Khatri holds a LLB from Delhi University. She has also earned a LLM from Columbia University, New York.

Aruna Chaba, a post graduate from Rajasthan University, is the Head of e-Governance Standards Division at National Informatics Centre, New Delhi, which is a premier Institution for e-Governance solutions under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. At present, she is actively involved with Metadata and Data Standards formulation for Person Identification, and Land Region Codification.

Earlier, she had been responsible for strategic planning and execution of Training of Government officials in the area of Information and Communication Technology. Since last seven years, she had been very successfully organizing workshops on e-Governance training prorammes for IAS and other senior and middle level officers of Government of India to bring attitudinal changes in the management for transformation to e-Governance.
Earlier, she had worked as Computer Section In-charge for fourteen years (1976- 1990) in Madras Atomic Power Station, Kalpakkam, and had contributed significantly in building computer culture at organization level.

Poonam joined Nokia India in 2006, as the corporate communication head. Prior to joining Nokia, Poonam had a 7 year stint with Microsoft as Head- Image and PR Microsoft India.
Poonam graduated from University of Jammu. She is also an MBA. Poonam is a member of the India Management Team at Nokia.

Dr. Shefali S. Dash, a Ph.D. in Physics from Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, is working as Deputy Director General in National Informatics Centre, Government of India. Currently she is in Charge of informatics development in the ICT sector of Government of India. Her areas of specialization are development and implementation of e-Governance programmes and establishing computer communication infrastructure in rural areas. Setting up of 650 odd Community Information Centres (CICs) at the block level in the 8 North Eastern states and Jammu & Kashmir, and implementing the National Do Not Call Registry portal for TRAI are some of her major contributions towards e-enabled citizen centric services.

Amrita Choudhury has over 11 years of hard core operational experience in the field of IT and Internet services. Her involvement at the grass root level for more than half a decade with cyber cafes across the country, has given her a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of the cyber café industry, the current challenges and the opportunities this sector presents.
Besides being a student of Public Policy and Regulations pertaining to Telecom, IT & ITES, Amrita has certificates in Internet Governance and Advanced Phased Certification on Security. She has a 6 sigma black belt certification and is also a Post Graduate in Management from Gauhati University.

Shireen Alam is a Director of Program Management based out of Sapient’s New Delhi office and has been working with Sapient for the past 11 years. During this time Shireen has managed multiple projects through the sales cycles and then from the requirements gathering phases to final delivery of the solutions ensuring that the projects remain on-time and on-budget. She has extensive project experience providing leadership to project teams, comprised of 10-45 on- and off-shore internal developers, contractors, client experts and third party vendors. She has lead teams that followed traditional waterfall development methods as well as agile methodologies.

Solutions include development and maintenance of MIT OpenCourseWare’s web based Content Management Solution as well as web design project for MIT OpenCourseWare and other clients. She has also managed data warehouse and reporting systems design, development and migration projects for major North-East Independent Systems Operator and another higher education institution. Most recently she has been managing project delivery for financial services clients to build various systems such as a security master, a client extranet, compliance applications to manage firm wide restricted trading lists, and an internal employee investment management tool.

Shireen has also contributed to Sapient by providing leadership to the “managers and above” forum consisting of 60 members and as the point of hiring point of contact for her business unit. In this role she created processes to manage the interviewer pool and interview scheduling. These efforts grew the pool by 50 percent and increased participation accordingly thereby contributing towards significant growth of the business unit. Global Resourcing, and was responsible for business development, strategy and NextGen transformation.
