Why Indian Startups Are Increasingly Flocking To Silicon Valley

#3. Lack of talent

Startups in India are increasingly flocking to Silicon Valley due to the availability of resources in abundance. India surely has talent but sometimes it becomes necessary to have a good team and graduates from Stanford and Harvard are much preferred as this also indirectly helps in funding.

#2. Low exit rates

It is also important to notice that it’s just not startups moving to U.S., the list also includes investors and venture capitalists. Not having enough exits is a major reason why investors are moving their portfolio. Companies who do not have enough exists are now pushing their investment portfolios to the U.S.

#1. The lime light

And finally the most important of all, the fame and recognition a startup gets in the U.S. is ten times more than what they get in the Indian startup ecosystem. Moreover being in the ‘hub’ definitely helps in terms of procuring foreign funding and the quality of the brand gets hyped as it is in centre of action.
