Established in the year 1968, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is one of the India’s most valuable companies. According to the global ranking of 2012, the company is at number 16 with revenue of $10.9 billion which is comparatively higher than the revenue of 2011, which was of $9.50 billion  although the ranking was the same.

The primary goal of the company is to provide IT services along with business solutions and outsourcing services. Headquartered in Mumbai, TCS is a subsidiary of TATA Group and is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India. The study reveals that TCS has undergone 15.2 percent growth in terms of revenue within a year and especially in terms of market share; currently it has 1.2 percent which has increased from 1.1 percent in a year.
