The very first Hurst Camaro was made available to the public in 2010 and was sold for $61,900 through a winning bid placed from eBay’s iPhone application. Owner of the New Jersey-based civil engineering firm Feist Engineering and a long-time eBay user; Ernest Feist placed a bid in his office where he got a notification from the app that he had been outbid. Immediately after half an hour, he found out that he won the charitable auction, which benefited the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund.

#1 Lotus Esprit Turbo Sports Car

Sold for: £25,000 (approximately 21 lakhs)

Birmingham radio DJ Tim Shaw paid a heavy price after his furious wife sold her husband’s beloved black Lotus Espirit Turbo for £25,000 on eBay at the “buy it now” price of fifty pence. The bargain sports car sold within few minutes of appearing on the auction site was bought presumably by an ecstatic buyer. After issuing a formal apology live on British’s popular show, he later bought back his Lotus for £5,000.
