7. HUL

After the devastating earthquake in 2001, HUL rebuild a village in the Kachchh district, Gujarat helping with school building, health centre, all the structures are earthquake and cyclone-resistant, underground reservoir and an overhead tank for water.

The company also donated 10 crore as relief and rehabilitation of Tsunami affected families by way of relief material, land and towards construction of facilities.

In 2008 after the floods in Bihar, HUL gave 10,000 kits worth 60 lakhs as first installment of relief material for the immediate relief of the flood affected families of Araria District in Bihar.

8. SBI

SBI Youth for India (SBI YFI) is an Indian rural fellowship programme commenced, financed and managed by the State Bank of India (SBI) in partnership with few of the reputed NGOs. It offers a structure for India's dazzling young minds to join hands with rural communities, identify with their struggles and connect with their ambitions. The chosen fellows work with experienced NGOs on exigent grass root development projects.
