#Intel: To contribute to the Internet of Things sector, the processors on the devices play a vital role. To cater to this sector requirement, Intel has designed a series of chips, from the highly energy efficient low capacity to the high capacity processing. Apparently, Intel is not the only brand on the job, its competitor ARM is developing chips for the sensors on the IoT devices.

# IBM: IBM plays a major role in the Internet of Things sector by offering a range of products. It includes a messaging platform for machine-to-machine data called the message sight, a development platform for apps that manages IoT data called the Blue Mix and many more. Supposedly, other competitors like Wipro and CGI are on the track too.

# Cisco: Cisco’s internet business solution group has predicted 25 million devices will be connected by 2015 and 50 million by 2020. The company expects route all the connections through its routers, embedded switches and network software. With the internet of things campaigns by Cisco, it aims to position itself as a global leader in connecting the previously unconnected devices and help the IP address connectivity of things through cloud computing services.
