# AT&T: AT&T is taking big steps to position itself on the IoT network with other service providers like Vodafone, Verizon and Telefonica looking into it as well. With partners like IBM, GE, and Cisco, AT&T attempts at achieving the dominant position as a network provider to connect all the IoT devices. According to the report on the computer world, AT&T and IBM will offer services to districts, utility companies and others to help manage their underpinnings by using the Internet of Things technology.

# GE: GE is termed as the pioneer in the Internet of Things industry, by a research firm IDC. Calling it the ‘Industrial Internet’, GE brings in the idea of internet-connected devices into the commercial and manufacturing categories. The company already has products like the airline fuel optimization, and hospital operations management; while the other industrial suppliers making an effort to enter the Internet of Things sector.
