Brief: A PhD candidate at the CMU, his interests include machine learning, machine reading, information extraction, knowledge representation and its applications in artificial intelligence and natural language processing. He works as a teaching assistant and is a real life hacker. Jayant is famous his contributions in designing the MD6 algorithm that allows immense parallel computation of hashes for very long scripts. It uses the Merkle tree-like structure for its computations and is said to report a speed of 1 GB/s for long messages on 16-core CPU architecture.

7. Pranav Mistry
Education: Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at MIT Media Lab, Masters of Design from IIT Bombay, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from NIRMA Ahmadabad.
Famed For: SixthSense, Mouseless, SPARSH, Quickies-intelligent sticky notes, Blinkbot etc.

Brief: Pranav Mistry is a well known personality among those who know anything about technology. Born in a small town of Palanpur, he excelled in his education and is currently the inventor of technologies that one can only dream about. His most taled-about invention has been the SixthSense. He also came up with an invisible mouse, Mouseless and several other startling inventions including intelligent sticky notes and a pen that can draw in 3D. His SixthSense Technology is being currently used at NASA. There are reports that he was approached by Facebook who wanted to acquire his technology for a whopping $2 billion and a 5 percent share in Facebook. But Pranav declined the offer as he wanted to make his invention open source. Pranav is a brilliant hacker who enjoys tremendous reputation in the hacking community for his innovations and ideology.
