Pushkala Chandramouli Eswaran
Ford India
Pushkala Chandramouli Eswaran is a team leader at Ford India. She has been associated with the company for 15 years and as of now, she manages 45 workers on the shop floor among which 20 women and 25 men. She said that, Ford offers equal opportunities for both man and women. They were also sent to Germany and the UK to learn how quality cars are made there.
"Working on the shop floor has been motivating for me, and through my experiences I have been able to encourage more women to work on the shop floor," says Pushkala.
Rubina Khatul
Yamaha
Rubina Khatul, is another women who followed her dream. After graduating from Delhi University, Rubina joined Yamaha as a trainee. The company recognized her determination and hard work and elevated her designation as the team lead. She is currently handling 8 different teams among which 72 of them are women. Rubina says "I had always dreamt of working in a motorcycle plant".
