Hailing from a Lebanese family and completed his education from reputed schools in France, Ghosn currently holds the position of Chairman and CEO of Paris-based major car manufacturer Renault. Carlos Ghosn has been described by CNN as the "quintessential international businessman."

For coordinating one of the decades most belligerent downsizing campaigns and spearheading the turnaround of Nissan from near bankruptcy in the late 1990s, Ghosn earned the nicknames "le cost killer" and "Mr. Fix It”. After the conditions of the company came back to normal, Ghosn achieved celebrity status and ranks as one of the 50 most famous men in global business and politics.

Hubert Joly was born and brought up in France. Joly holds a degree in business administration from the HEC Parisand a degree in public administration from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. Joly commenced his career as consultant, specializing in the high-tech sector, and then a partner with McKinsey & Company, working in the firm’s San Francisco New York and Paris offices.

Currently Joly holds the position of CEO of Best Buy, an American multinational consumer electronics corporation headquartered in Richfield, Minnesota.
