Embrace Chaos to Succeed In the Indian Subcontinent: Ravi Venkatesan

Taking an example of Deere he said that the company never lost share to MNCs like Mahindra and had no competition in small tractors. Finally it has also started good progress in the Indian market.

Taking about the common traits of the successful MNCs in India, Venkatesan said that the simple and most important success mantra is long-term commitment to the market. Companies will only be able to overcome the struggling ups and downs like the present situation, only if they take a long-term view, stick to the market even in tough situations and invest with a long-term horizon.

He further added that achievers who have targeted and focused the middle class market by making their brands more locally available have done well. Those companies who are more cautious end up tumbling in the difficult market situations.
