Windows 8 comes with a User State Migration Tool that enables the user to migrate himself to a new machine and the Windows To Go feature that makes the bootable instance similar to USB Flash drive hardware-permitting. There is also a tool for distribution purposes of the Windows by making customizable P/E images.

All these tools have made the deployment process of the Windows 8 much easier and simpler much to the like of Linux distro.

3. Safer and Secure Booting:

In order to help vendors secure their system, Microsoft has come up with a unique feature that traps the disk master boot, secures it and makes it difficult to place other operating systems on it. This feature strengthens the system’s boot security but still it had to face acute criticism from people who prefer running concurrent operating systems or disk partition instances.
