Anoop Prakash: A Managing Director of a well-known motorcycle company, Harley Davidson, Anoop Prakash is someone who did not even know how to ride a bike until he joined this company in 2010. Riding a bike was the first thing he learnt on the job. Since then he has not only put this bike ahead in India, but also developed the leisure biking market, a section that hardly existed when Harley entered the country.

He said that his connection with Harley goes back to his childhood days in Minnesota in the U.S., where he was fascinated with Harley riders who came over on weekends. Prakash grew up to become a U.S. Marine Corps officer, where he served for four years and later opted for a career in corporate world.
Under his leadership, Harley has launched four families of motorcycles — Sporsters, Dyna, Softail and V-Rod - spanning 10 variants in India. In the year 2010, the total number of bikes sold has gone up considerably.
