Jobs inclination towards cars can make a weird but curious story. He capitalized on some less known Californian law, by which he can have a car without license plates, and could exchange it every six months with identical model of his favorite automobile, Mercedes SL55 AMG. His peculiar ways about automobiles were famous, and tabloids across world carried it.

Steve Jobs eventually wanted to plunge in to car business too, according to CEO J. Crew and Apple board member Mickey Drexler, he dreamed of building an Apple-branded iCar.    

“Look at the car industry; it’s a tragedy in America. Who is designing the cars?” Drexler said. “Steve’s dream before he died was to design an iCar.”  He then added”it would’ve been probably 50% of the market. Jobs never did design it.”

Though Jobs couldn’t design the iCar, he nevertheless bent on bringing out one. If Apple team embarks on to this project, never wonder the Jobs’ dream can make big inroads in to the way people drive and the way people felt about automobiles.
