Yemen:
Yemen makes it to the list too. The estimated total number of guns held by civilians in Yemen is 8,000,000 to 11,500,000. The rate of private gun ownership in the country is 54.8 firearms per 100 people, as informed by gunpolicy.org.

However, as a member of the League of Arab States, Yemen adopted the Arab Model Law on Weapons, Ammunitions, Explosives and Hazardous Material in January 2002. Further, in 2009 it withdrew from endorsing negotiations towards a legally binding Arms Trade Treaty.

Switzerland:
Switzerland is known to have one of the highest militia gun ownership rates in the world. Recently, a minority of political opposition expressed a desire for tighter gun regulations. However, a referendum in February 2011 rejected stricter gun control. The rate of private gun ownership in the country is 45.7 firearms per 100 people. The projected total number of guns held by civilians in Switzerland is 3,400,000. The regulation of guns in the nation is categorized as restrictive.
