#8 2009 – Co-founder Nandan Nilekani resigned to join the Indian Government on his intention to launch the nationwide biometric identity card programme.

#9 2011 – S.D Shibulal was then appointed as CEO after stepping down from the post of chief operating officer. Narayan Murthy retired this year from non-executive chairman’s post. Meanwhile TV Mohandas Pai, a board member had quit and veteran banker K.V. Kamath took over as non-executive chairman.

#10 2013- Infosys was looking at bad days with nothing to take away in the last nine quarters. As investors had also pointed out from their side, it was time for the most renowned firm to get a touch up from its forerunner. This is however another leap towards a better future of Infosys as iconic founder Narayana Murthy comes back as Executive Chairman replacing K.V. Kamath. While Murthy creates a comeback to the unexpected call, son Rohan Murthy too is said to assist him this time.
