10 Countries with Maximum Press Freedom
Luxembourg:
Luxembourg takes the fourth place in the Press Freedom Index. Luxembourg's media scene is defined by its linguistic diversity. The market for print and the audiovisual media in Luxembourg is open to several foreign publications and channels, given the country’s multilingual population.
Andorra:
Andorra is the sixth smallest nation in Europe and ranks fifth on the index. The report suggests that though many criteria are considered, ranging from legislation to violence against journalists, democratic countries occupy the top of the index while dictatorial countries occupy the bottom positions.
Denmark:
Denmark ranks sixth for its press freedom. It is also noted that like most other nations, Denmark also forbids publishing classified material harmful to state security, copyright-protected material without permission and revealing trade secrets in the civil law.
