9. Robert Diamond

Former CEO, Barclays

Robert Edward started his career as a lecturer. He made an entry into the financial domain in 1997. He started his new career with Morgan Stanley. He joined Barclays in 1996. In 2011, he became CEO of Barclays.

The recent scandal in Barclays over interest rate gearing scandal forced Diamond to resign from Barclays. Allegations are there, Diamond hold the authority over Barclay’s involvement in this Libor (London Interbank Offered Rate). Barclays offered a heavy amount to settle all these issues.

10. Stuart Gulliver

CEO, HSBC

After Stuart Gulliver joined the HSBC's elite international officer program, his banking career started growing. He has played many important roles in the banks development.

The current reports stated that the biggest bank in Britain is getting polluted as it was allowing fund transfers in Mexico, Syria, Iran and other countries which have a huge drug trafficking network. HSBC also faced Libor charges.

All these happened under the leadership of Stuart Gulliver. He made an apology for the failure of the bank over the washing of the drug money.
