6. Bill Gates:

Bill Gates, the present chairman of Microsoft has slipped down to sixth place from fourth last year as the most powerful person in the world. He is also the second richest man in the world with $65 billion net worth. During his career at Microsoft, Gates held the positions of CEO and chief software architect, and he still remains the largest individual shareholder, with 6.4 percent of the common stock.  Gates is one of the best-known entrepreneurs of the personal computer revolution. He is a great philanthropic who has given away over $28 billion in charity to fight and eliminate many infectious and fatal diseases. Gates has superseded all levels of generosity when he persuaded his friends and colleagues to join the ‘Giving Pledge.’

7. Ben S. Bernanke:

Ben Bernanke, an American economist  is the present Chairman of the Federal Reserve. During his tenure as chairman, Bernanke has overseen the Federal Reserve's response to the late-2000s financial crisis. He then served as chairman of President George W. Bush's Council of Economic Advisers before President Bush appointed him on February 1, 2006, to be chairman of the United States Federal Reserve. Bernanke was confirmed for a second term as chairman on January 28, 2010, after being re-nominated by President Barack Obama.
