The Decisions That Matter

I took study loan because i always wanted to study at my own after school .
Also, though i am graduated from Electrical Stream i took challebge to work in a IT industry.

Growth Strategy:

I have started working in a IT & Telecom industry since last year as fresher and learning something new everyday to enhance my skills on new technologies as well side by side joined an institution for language courses to add some more charm to my technical knowledge.

Degrees That Matter:

yeah. I am Oracle 9i/10g certified .
i have been working on Unix since 1st yr of my graduation.taking classes for .NET and Java on Weekends as i am a working Professional.

Prized Accomplishment(s):

Being an Electrical Engineer from a non-premium college,working in IT Industry is itself an accomplishment that too just after my completion of Degree through off-campus. I had beaten all those CS & IT students either BCA,MCA graduates or an Engineering candidates.

Working Life Management:

i come office, complete my daily tasks,learn everyday some new issues solution,enjoy with colleauges in lunchtime or in tea breaks. After leaving from office i start reading my novel during on the way to home and spend time with family after reaching back.

Other Thoughts:

I have many things left to perform in life like i'll have to join classical singing classes .I am a professional guitarist and a good sketcher.

The Journey So Far:

My journey to Corporate has been wonderful till now.Though i am fresher i think it is the best stage to learn and implement your ideas because my mentor says in this stage you are eager to learn and face challenges so u'll be easily acquired by the new technologies.

GOOGLE the biggest knowledge helper .all sites having tips related to new upcoming technologies you can get on sites like techgig.com,knowledgelink.com and many more. Because we know "when there is a will,there is way to it".

Role Model:

Yes my mentor is my guru, my colleague and my mentor Mr.Kamal Arora. He is a hardworking ,focused and a challenging person .I learned from his strengths a lot and improving over my weaknesses everyday.

Done Differently:

I'll learn skills according to their preference to be given at the time when it is required to be done and not before it ,because otherwise its none other than a waste of time and money.

Advice For New Professionals:

Work in a field of your interest never run after a fashion or a trend. Add new skills to your knowledge everyday and be an addict to learn advanced technologies.

It has not changed much but the way of performing old task has took a new face after the implementation of some new software & techniques.
