Could you tell us briefly about your family background?
We are 3 people at home . Myself, my Hubby and a little small angel daughter !
The Journey So Far:
My journey began with Cbay systems in Bangalore where I was working as MT trainee ! Later I jumped on the very promising career with Clinical Research with Vaatsalya Healthcare Solutions ! However Vaatsalya was predominantly catering to hospital services and I began my corporate career 4 years back
Degrees That Matter:
Yes May be certified ISO Auditor Training course and later Lead Auditor Training course !
Prized Accomplishment(s):
My thesis on Feasibility of E procurement in Healthcare was appreciated and was recommended for publishing at National Institute of Health and Family Welfare , Delhi
Also My project of E procurement- Procure Xpress for Vaatsalya is appreciated and we are first to use E procurement system in health
Job Profile:
My Job profile includes quality and Procurement services . I am in charge of procurement of all 15 network of Hospitals as Manager - Procurement
Besides Im also involved in NABH accreditation process for all hospitals as NABH coordinator
Also I play some support role in operations network
Plans For The Future:
in a couple of years down the lane I would see myself to be an independent entrepreneur who would be starting something new in healthcare !
Working Life Management:
its a toughest job but still I dont mix and match . When its family time I see to it that Im 100 % available for my family and when in office I devote my 100% ! But I do take out time mandatory for my family
Growth Strategy:
Staying with the same organization for longer period of time and developing and updating myself continuously with new skills or training courses ! Also coordinating and working with a team is a major step stone to emerge as a successful leader ! Delegation of tasks to correct personnel is imp
Other Thoughts:
I have recently blessed with a beautiful angel (now 7 months) and believe me all Motherhood is the toughest job !No corporate career or job can be compared to this valuable ,hard, and the only job full of dedication and emotions is a must in this job !

Done Differently:
I would be starting with something on my own but not in healthcare industry ! May be a franchisee for some restaurant chain !!!N0t yet decided but definitely will be something of my own !
Changes In The Professional Environment:
Professional environment has changed drastically . All paper work has been changed to computer network and there is a systemic approach and documentation as everything is online and data is available whenever required unlike in case of papers ! Also networking 15 hospitals is a complex process
